During my school days I was a topper in subjects of mathematics and science, and was even awarded a scholarship by the school for the same. I always participated in science exhibitions and Olympiads, and always aspired to become the best.
I completed my Electrical engineering from NIT Rourkela, and was second ranker in my branch taking in consideration the qualifying exam AIEEE's rank. In my engineering days I improved on my poor English and had one of the best vocabulary in the college. I even started writing blogs, and some of entries were featured in the college blog, and won the first position. My english skills helped me in securing 99.25 percentile in XAT 2011 and 99.4 in NMAT 2012, which I think is a big achievement for someone who had to struggle in Englishmen in his schooldays.
The growing challenge in today’s business environment is to manage an enterprise in the face of ever increasing complexity and unpredictability due to both internal and external factors. To succeed in this environment, one not only requires a detailed understanding of corporate workings, people and the business scenario, but also an ability to visualize the impact of one’s decisions.

From my experiences, I have learnt that to fit pieces together to comprise the whole as a business, I need to arm myself with various skills like strategic planning, decision-making etc.
To prepare myself for the upcoming challenges the competitive world will put me through; a formal education in management is necessary. An MBA from a reputed institute like NMIMS will broaden my exposure and prepare me to formulate strategies for sustainable development of my enterprise. Working together with colleagues from different academic and professional backgrounds would enrich my learning and help building stronger bonds of friendship.
