Evolution is the something I strive for, and the desire to excel and get better in capabilities and character is intrinsic to me. My past performances show that I have a proved myself in many competitive exams, which I think are a certificate of my inherent aptitude and also the willingness to work hard.
I was a topper since my schooldays when I secured seventh position in class tenth boards, and was even awarded a two year scholarship. I have consistently worked hard since then, and became the second topper of my school in Class Twelfth.
I gave AIEEE-2007 and got admission in Electrical engineering at NIT Rourkela, a premier institute ranked 12th in Dataquest-2010 rankings. Here also I was the second opener, taking AIEEE rank as a parameter.
It was here that I improved on my English and perfected my vocabulary. I also started blogging to utilize my skills ,interest and creativity .One of my composition was even adjudged as the winner in a college level blog competition. These endeavours helped me in securing an overall percentile of 99.25 IN XAT 2011, and percentile of 99.4 in NMAT 2012.
I was the first person from my branch to get the campus placement and was selected in TRF LIMITED, a TATA Enterprise. It was in the cultural fest of this company that I performed a song, and played the lead role of Chitragupta in a Drama. This was a wonderful experience as it was first significant stage performance of mine, and was also a significant non-academic achievement for me.
My Engineering experience has helped to develop technical and problem solving skills, but to assume the decision and strategy making roles they are not enough. A structured course like MBA from NMIMS will help me to develop the required skills and gain a much needed holistic understanding of functioning of organizations.
NMIMS, with its USP as Expert faculty and excellent corporate interface will help me develop managerial, visionary, entrepreneurial and leadership skills, and will enhance my practical knowledge to face the corporate world. The thrust on creating managers with a blend of social sensitivity and co- curricular skills in NMIMS will help me to become a complete person..
Finally, Optimum learning ambiance, opportunities and bright people from diverse backgrounds will help me better my thinking process which will help in both my professional and personal life.
